TASKS Number 1: Blending For the first round, let's start with something basic. Each of the contestants will have to make a blend. Any dimension/size. There should be no animation in the graphic whatsoever. The blend should contain these: 1. Theme color. For example, in this graphic, it's blue. 2. A background made by YOU. You can not get a background from sites like photobucket. Using patters as a background (if using Adobe) isn't allowed as well. 3. At least five pictures. (Of a celebrity, singer, band, cartoon character, anyone) You may add text and color effects and anything you'd like. DEADLINE: JANUARY 2, 2009 Good luck to all contestants! SEND YOUR TASK TO ME THROUGH PM. THANK YOU. Number 2: Animation For the second round, each contestant should make a graphic not bigger than 350x100. The graphic should contain these following kinds of animations: blinking, fading (tween effect- if using Adobe), sliding, etc... It should contain at least 8 or more pictures. Deadline: JANUARY 5, 2009 Number 3: Icons =D For the third round, each of the contestants will make 5 icons. The icons can either be animated or non-animated. Both are acceptable. In your task, you may have some icons animated, and you may have some icons non-animated. Your choice. In the icons you're making, you can only use this picture (since it's year of ze ox). Uhuh, i know what you're thinking, how the heck can you animate with just one pic? XD I dunno, you're smart, get some styles. XD. Anyway, the icons can't be bigger than 100x100. Deadline: January 8, 2009 Number 4: Creativeness, creativeness, more creativeness. For the fourth round, we will concentrate more on your creativeness. Like we do every task but then it's more intense this time. XDD. So, each contestant will have to make a wallpaper. 1024x768 in dimension/size. It should contain the following: A border (made by you), at least 8 pictures, creative background, & text (any text). You may also add animation. Also use a lot of effects. XDD. Oke, sry if the task isn't much but brace yourself for ze fifth task. LOL =P REMEMBER: Creativeness. O____O *oke, Imma stop before I don't make sense* =DD. Anyway, deadline on January 13, 09. =DD Number 5: For task five, each contestant will have to make one graphic and different styles in just ONE graphic. She truly showed her creativity in effects and style. The effects look really professional and she has a nice choice in selecting her own styles. Jessica's Task: It's very nice. The background, the effects, everything looks gorgeous. The way you cut the edges of the image is great. The use of images is also very well done. The text is amazing and so is the effects. Very creative. Sophia's Task: The effects used a quite simple but the colors blended very well. The graphics could have been better if you showed more of your creativity and style. Also, we asked you to make a graphic containing 5 pictures yet you gave us two. Isabella's Task: The font and it's effects are amazing. It really stands out. But when you look at the images the cutting is a bit off and needs more blending. The graphic has only a few effects which lacks creativity. Nina's Task: Needs Improvement in cutting the edges of the pictures, blending, and using brushes. The graphic is very messy. The person looking at it can not understand what exactly is going on. Also, the background appears very plain. Betina's Task: The cutting on the first image was great but when you reached the other images it seems that it's edges are messy. The text doesn't exactly fit in well in the graphic so does the brushes. The background effects is okay but the blending needs improvement. Task 2 Bella's Task: The effects were REALLY good and professional. But then, we were expecting more animation effects. It was really good, though. Jessica's Task: Very creative. The animation effects you used were very unique and awesome. Great job. Thumbs up. Sophia's Task: Although the effects were good the image color was really horrible. There were also some problems in your cutting of the images. Isabella's Task: The animation effects were great, although the quality of the images ruined the whole thing. Betina's Task: The text effect was really slow. There were only a small amount effects in the whole graphic. Also, we weren't expecting the graphic to be icon sized. And you didn't give the right amount of pictures. Task 3 Bella's Task: Very nice icons. The effects are really winner! Jessica's Task: VERY NICE. We're glad you actually did animation. Love the effects. Sophia's Task: Awesome. Although the font wasn't really appearing right for icons. Isabella's Task: Nice. But the backgrounds were kind of plain Task 4 Bella's Task: not passed yet Jessica's Task: Really good job. VERY NICE. The effects, the pictures, everything seems so professional. Six thumbs up. Yes, six. Sophia's Task: It was fine except for the two pictures (the largest ones). They were kindda low in quality. The background appears to be a bit too plain. And there are not much effects.
